Boys, Say Bye To Hair Problems

Boys, Say Bye To Hair Problems

Maintaining your hair is a common problem among the men and the women. Usually, we end up worried and spending thousands of bucks at the salons  to keep our mane healthy and shiny. But, sadly it just makes it worse and causes hair loss!
There are many causes of scalp hair loss, and they do differ in men and women.

Thinning hair
  • Keep it short and sweetThinning hair with any sort of length tends to have a whiff of comb-over about it. A truly good hairdresser can come up with some interesting quirks to style a short, thinning pate with character.
  • There are some great styling products, although not necessarily specifically for thinning hair, which will help “fatten” up your hair shaft. Good old gel, for instance, when dried into the hair will coat it, making it look bigger and fuller. Similarly, a little dry hairspray – no joke – will act as a great fluffer.
  • One thing that can slow down the hair-growth cycle is a follicle clogged with gunk. And let’s face it – most Indian cities have ample pollution, dust and countless other terrible things in the air. So a good shampoo should be considered part of your urban survival kit.
Dandruff
  • You know how it is whenever you treat yourself to a massage? You walk out promising yourself that you’ll do that at least once a month from now on. Well, dandruff is the excuse you’ve been looking for to justify keeping that promise. Regular exfoliation of the scalp will remove the skin cells that contribute to dandruff.
  • Diet plays a huge role in our general health, and your epidermis is no exception to this rule. So get yourself some good nourishment and you’ll give your skin its best chance of staying hydrated and healthy and keeping away those flakes.
  • There are few better mood killers than white flakes on your shoulders. If you’re still suffering the effects of a dry scalp, don’t step out wearing anything other than your old friend white.
Oily scalp
  • Regular, gentle cleansing with a good-quality shampoo is the key here. Too many supermarket brands are not much better than industrial grade detergent, and will over cleanse your scalp. This is only going to make your sebaceous glands go into extreme overdrive to replace all the lost oils from the scorched-earth “cleansing”.
  • Try not to apply conditioner directly on to your scalp – it’s your hair that needs the conditioning. Use a spray applicator for better results as well as to help avoid an excessively oily scalp from developing.
  • Avoid gloss-and-shine styling products at all costs. Adding more shine to oily hair will only make you look like an extra from a gangster film, and the whole wet look is so 2002. Time to move on and try products with a more matte finish.
Every man’s hairdo says something. So take some time out from your busy schedule and pay attention to your hair problems.
