The harmful ultra violet rays break down collagen, which may result in wrinkles.

 

Anti-oxidants:

Foods with antioxidant properties should be part of daily regimen. Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries and blackberries all fall in this category. These berries help in improving elasticity of skin and boosting collagen production, providing boost for fighting skin-damaging free radicals.

 

Water:

Water not only keeps you hydrated but also renders several benefits to skin. Lack of water is one of the reasons of skin dryness, which also make wrinkles appear more prominent. In this manner, water enables you to keep skin glowing, healthy and fresh. In order to keep skin glowing and maintaining streamlined metabolic functions, it is recommended to drink at least 2 litres of water every day.

 

Skin Care:

Skin care is a must for glowing and healthy skin. The process involves washing your face every night with a retinol containing skin care product, followed by applying moisturiser. Retinol prohibits action of skin free radicals and unstable oxygen molecules on skin.

 

Smoking:

Cigarette smoking is another reason of skin damage that leads to wrinkles. Impact of smoking is considerably evident from the fact that even occasional smoking cause irreparable damage to the skin. Giving up on the habit will raise your chances of looking young and will delay signs of aging.
